About Belle Grey and the Briggs Family

Belle Grey Farm is located in western Loudoun County and is about three miles from the historic Upperville Colt & Horse Show grounds.  The farm is owned and operated by Heather and Fred Briggs.  The farm offers a quiet respit off the show circuit for a select few clients to train and rejuvenate.

Heather is an accomplished international combined driving competitor, course designer, and horse owner having had success at World Pairs, World Teams and World Cup Championships. She is currently the Chef d'Equipe of the US World Singles Team and the Italian World Pairs Driving Team.   Additionally, Fred and Heather own top international jumpers which have had great success with the US Show jumping team on multiple Nation's Cup Teams, winning the Ocala $1 million, and individual and team bronze medals at the Pan Am Games.

Fred is an accomplished master woodworker. He operates a portable sawmill which he used to harvest storm fallen trees and solar kiln drying the wood to turn into top quality furniture, tack trunks, and more.  He also designs and builds custom sponsor show jumps, combined driving obstacles and signs.
